I have been trying for six (6) years to find products that work for my menopause. Sheets, fans, clothes…anything to keep me cool during a hot flash. Well, there are finally some products I am ready to recommend and here they are below.

Stay Cool at Home

For the simplest stuff, I really love these washcloths. Not too expensive, they freeze well, and you can’t beat the price. $16.99 for a pack of 12 on Amazon.

Stay Cool on the Go

My BFF bought me one of these fans and they are great for traveling. Rechargeable, no batteries, and it doesn’t catch your hair!

$23.99 for this one on Amazon

Fans with water spritzers?

After trying 4 different fans, the one below is my choice because it has a stand and there is nothing manual. Hit a button, you have a breeze, hold the button down and you have spritz. I recommend filtered water so the spritzer does not clog as often. That is the only downside to this fan.

Clothes That Keep You Cool

I live in shorts and tank tops.

The looser the better, the lighter the better.

Many tops and pairs of shorts have been purchased and returned to Amazon because, well, the material just sucked.

When we used to shop in stores, I always found the sale rack and bought the most comfy shorts and tops I could find. The problem with that is that I could never find them again.

After all this time, I have finally found the top and shorts of my dreams. Comically, the top is from one set, the shorts from another.

The Top

Avidlove Women Cami Pajama Set Modal Sleepwear Lace Trim Short PJ Set with Shorts

If the pictures are messed up on your phone, it’s the black set you see.

From this set, I love the top. The lace doesn’t itch, it’s adjustable, plus you can take the straps down and roll the bottom up. It doesn’t bother my underarms either because most clothes will. The material is lightweight enough that you don’t feel like ripping it off your body during a hot flash. The shorts are great but not as comfy as the next set I will show you. Yes, it is totally worth it to buy both sets and mix them up. Give the other mixed set to a non-menopausal friend.

In Black this one is $22.99 right now on Amazon. Not bad.

The Bottoms

NACHILA Women's Pajamas Set Bamboo Ribbed Racerback Tank Top and Shorts Sleepwear Sleeveless Loose Fit Nightwear Pjs S-XXL

It’s the fog green set you see. I cannot get the pictures correct on phone view.

This is the most comfortable pair of non-drawstring shorts I have ever worn. I had had my last pair for more than 10 years and boy was it time for them to go. After looking for months upon MONTHS for just shorts that I would like, I decided to look for pajama sets and this bamboo set is seriously comfortable AND breathable. To me, the top is too heavy for menopause and should be sold separately, but that is not the case. Buy the shorts, gift out the top. I like black but they come in various colors.

Currently $39.99 on Amazon but totally worth it.
