OUR RECOMMENDATIONS
Nearly a decade of hot flashes, restless nights, and a running return pile has taught us a lot about what actually works, and more importantly— what doesn't.
The products on this page made the cut. They're organized by category to make it easy to find what you need, whether that's something to eat or drink, or something to change how you or your space feels.
The products on this page contain affiliate links, meaning we may earn a small commission if you buy through them. It never affects our recommendations or what we choose to feature.
Homegoods
Make your space work with your body, not against it.
The right home environment can take the edge off more than you'd expect. We've tested everything from weighted blankets to air purifiers to bedroom temperature tools, looking for what genuinely helps versus what just sounds good on paper. These are the home upgrades that have made the biggest difference for sleep, comfort, and general day-to-day wellbeing.
Bear Sheets
Why we like this:
After eight years on menopause and having tried countless sheet sets, this set, that came with our Bear Mattress, is lightweight and truly breathable.I have been using them for 2 years now and I would love another set or two. You can purchase them without the mattress!
4 Piece Microfiber Bed Sheet Set
Why we like this:
I have not tried these but according to the internet, they are the closest to the Bear Sheets
Mellanni Iconic 4-Piece, Ultra Soft Sheet Set
Why we like this:
Another choice from the internet that seems similar to Bear Sheets
DAN RIVER 10 Pack Wash Cloths
Why we like this:
A pile of go to washcloths is necessary. Keep one in the freezer, one near the coffee table and one on your bed stand. Have spares ready when they need a wash. I keep the ones close damp to wipe off all the damn sweat.
Nutrition
Feed your body what it actually needs right now.
Menopause changes the way your body processes just about everything -- and what you eat and drink is no exception. These are the foods, drinks, and supplements we come back to when symptoms are running the show -- nothing faddy, nothing that requires a complete overhaul of how you eat. From ingredients that take the edge off hot flashes to drinks that actually support better sleep, this is what's stocked in our kitchen right now.
Naked Nutrition: Pea Protein
Why we like this:
No added sugar. No sugar substitutes. Hormone-free, GMO-free, and gluten-free, with no fillers, gums, or artificial sweeteners As estrogen levels change during menopause, maintaining muscle mass, bone strength is increasingly important. In my opinion (not a health professional, just a professional patient), we do not get enough protein from what we eat at our age.
Naked Nutrition: Whey Protein
Why we like this:
It is good to get a balance of animal and plant protein for body health. and we LOVE the fact that there is NO added sugar and NO sugar substitutes, etc.
BlenderBottle Sport Flip Stainless Steel Shaker Bottle
Why we like this:
It makes it easy to travel with your protein powder and it's not plastic. After starting with plastic, it is finally starting to break down, so this is my replacement. The only con I have is the noise when shaking but you'll get over it as I did.
Aloha Protein: Plant Protein
Why we like this:
This is the protein powder we started on. Again, no added sugar, no sugar substitutes is major and it's organic....Love organic.

Small tools, real difference.
Some of the most useful things we've found aren't glamorous -- they're just effective. Whether it's a device that helps you sleep deeper, track your cycle more accurately, or cool down faster, technology has quietly gotten very good at addressing the specific frustrations of perimenopause and menopause. These are the gadgets that have earned permanent spots in our routine.
HandFan Upgraded Handheld Misting Fan
Why we like this:
Because you just have to own this. Probably three or more actually. One outside, one in the living room, one on my nightstand. With the water spray and the fan, it is the PERFECT way to cool off a hot flash.
