So I wrote about how Goldilocks must have menopause. You can read the blog here: https://www.themenopausestores.com/blog/menopause-and-goldilocks

Apparently, a lot of people relate to Goldilocks because a lot of people have written about her.

I think Goldilocks IS in Menopause. She’s just afraid to tell anyone. Back then Menopause wasn’t a word people used in front of others.

After reading the article below, I totally identify with Goldilocks, but I think our bodies relate to the 3 bears.

Here is an article about Goldilocks and Her Three Estrogens:

https://drtabatha.com/goldilocks-and-her-three-estrogens/

I love how Dr. Tabatha goes into some detail about how our three estrogens work.

She also says “We can measure our hormones and interpret them. And we can measure much more than conventional doctors are taught to do.”

“My favorite test is the DUTCH (Dried Urine Testing for Comprehensive Hormones) because you get a complete picture of what your body is doing, not just a general overview that traditional gynecologist’s order through bloodwork.”

No one has mentioned this test to me, and I want one, so I just emailed my new doctor to ask for one, if it will help me navigate menopause in any way.

I just relieved my last primary doctor of her duties to me as I put up with her dismissiveness too long. Life is too short for bullshit.

We, all of us in menopause, are Goldilocks. We are searching for food we can stomach, a comfortable position on the couch, and a peaceful night’s sleep.

It doesn’t seem like a lot to ask.
